Moscow (Times Of Ocean)- Hunter Biden, the son of US President Joe Biden, is directly responsible for funding biological laboratories (biolabs) in Ukraine, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
At a news conference in Moscow, Igor Kirillov, the head of the Russian Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Force, presented documents seized in battles in Ukraine, allegedly from Ukraine and the US.
Hunter Biden’s Rosemont Seneca Partners investment fund sponsored a military biological program in Ukraine.
According to Kirillov, Rosemont Seneca is closely affiliated with the Metabiota and Black and Veach companies, recognized as official contractors for delivering equipment for the Pentagon’s biolabs worldwide.
“The scale of the program is impressive. In addition to the (US) Department of Defense, the US Agency for International Development, the George Soros Foundation, and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention are directly involved in the program’s implementation in Ukraine,” he said.
The research in Ukrainian biolaboratories was conducted by the Los Alamos National Lab, which develops nuclear weapons as part of the Manhattan Project, he said.
Manhattan Project was a research and development project that created the world’s first nuclear weapon.
All of these activities are carried out under the full control of the Pentagon, said Kirillov.
Documents called “registration cards” indicate that 30 biolaboratories in 14 Ukrainian settlements are engaged in the development of biological weapons.
In areas of Ukraine under Russian control, there are no labs, but it is unclear if labs exist in other areas.
The card mentions the contractor as the US Defense Threat Reduction Agency.
The biolabs also studied pathogens and information that can be used to develop biological weapons, according to the document.
Four thousand servicemen were tested in Lviv, Kharkiv, Odessa, and Kyiv for antibodies to hantaviruses and 400 for antibodies to Congo-Crimean fever virus as part of a project called UP-8.
Over 16,000 biological tests were taken in Ukraine and sent abroad.
Such a large-scale screening of natural immunity was probably undertaken in order to select the most dangerous biological agents for a certain region of the world.
“Analysis of the documentation shows that not only tissue samples and human blood serum were exported abroad, but also dangerous pathogens, as well as their carriers. More than 10,000 samples were sent to the Lugar Center in Georgia, reference laboratories in the UK and the Leffler Institute in Germany,” said Kirillov.
The transfer of sensitive genetic information creates risks not only for Ukraine, but for regions where the tests were transported as well.
Ukraine’s servicemen were also used to test Deep Drug, an unlicensed drug, although such activities are prohibited in the US.
According to documents from a UP-2 project, its goal was to study the causative agent of anthrax, which is characterized by a high damaging ability and resistance to environment.
Biolabs’ employees searched for burial sites of animals killed by anthrax and took soil samples from those sites.
Insect carriers were being studied in animal burial grounds by another team.
“Given that the epidemic situation with anthrax in Ukraine remains safe, the question arises about the need for research conducted by the Pentagon and their true goals,” said Kirillov.
According to him, the US has the most biological laboratories in the world. Approximately 336 US biolabs operate in 30 countries, based on China’s data.
“We believe that in the context of the incoming information, it is necessary to seek clarification from Washington regarding the true goals of the activities of American biological laboratories in the framework of an international investigation,” he said.
The Russian Defense Ministry claimed on March 10 that it had obtained documents indicating that US-sponsored labs in Ukraine had tested bat coronavirus samples.
The records recovered by Russia confirm that the biolabs investigated the transmission of pathogens between Ukraine and Russia, as well as borders between other countries.
Victoria Nuland, US Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs, confirmed at a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing on March 8 that US-led biological research facilities are in Ukraine.
Kyiv and Washington are now working together to prevent Russian forces from getting their hands on the materials accumulated there, she said.
