Kyiv (Times Of Ocean)- A missile attack on a Ukrainian city near the Polish border caused explosions that injured at least five people.

A local official said on Saturday that five people were injured in explosions caused by Russian missile attacks on fuel tanks near the city of Lviv in western Ukraine.

According to Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the Regional Military Administration on Telegram, three large explosions occurred as a result of guided missile attacks on a fuel depot near Lviv, a city 60 kilometers (40 miles) from Poland.

Kozytskyi noted that no apartment buildings in the city were damaged by the Russian airstrikes.

Another rocket attack

Andriy Sadovyi, the mayor of Lviv, told reporters later Saturday that Russia launched another rocket attack against the city.

He said on Telegram that a Russian missile attack at 6.55 p.m. local time (2055GMT) produced three more powerful explosions.
